Gujaratis extend their hands to give, not to beg: CR Patil attacking promises of AAP that are “like Chinese products”

Surat: Gujarat BJP president, C R Patil, speaking at Vibrant Weavers Expo 2022 in Surat today morning asked people to be cautious against the freebies being promised by Arvind Kejriwal and his Aam Aadmi Party in Gujarat without mentioning their names.

Patil said – “There is one man who is going around Gujarat and saying he will provide free water.”

“Here the municipal corporation provides water for Rs 460/year which is 1.10 rupee (Appox) per day for one household. The family uses this water for multiple purposes, and no other corporation in the country provides treated water at such a low cost. So no one can allure us with the promise of free water,” he added.

Patil further said, “The water is so clean and treated that when he comes and drinks this water, his face also gets glow up.”

Patil said, “Once the Maharashtra government had announced that they will provide electricity at Re. 1 in Navapur. A lot of entrepreneurs bought land and planted machinery there but the electricity supply was not there.”

‘Similarly, this brother (Kejriwal) is giving a guarantee of free power, but he doesn’t give a guarantee of power supply. His promises are like Chinese products, if you trust him you will get stuck.’

‘He is also promising 10 lakh jobs to the youth of Gujarat, to which I say “Vachanam Kim Daridratam” which means no one becomes poor by merely giving promises. So even when after 50-60 years there is about 5.5 lakh govt. jobs in Gujarat, he (Kejriwal) promises to give 10 lakh govt jobs. Furthermore, he thought if at all you are going to speak lie then lie bigger, and so he said that he will double the number of jobs. But he doesn’t explain how will he do it.’

‘Today Gujarat provides the most number of jobs, even during the lockdown most migrants went to their home state from Gujarat, but Gujaratis did not come back from anywhere as they don’t go out to seek a job, they have employment here. So this person who is giving promises should understand this. ‘

‘The Specialty of Gujarat is that Gujarati extend their hands to give, they do not bring their hands in front to beg. So no one can try to fool such Gujaratis with false promises. And we also have to be aware of such people.’
