Gandhinagar: According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), Gujarat, Light to Moderate rain/thundershowers 5 days in the Gujarat region, Diu, Daman, and Dadara Nagar Haveli with exception of Heavy rains at isolated places of the state.

On 1st September, Heavy rains at isolated places are very likely in the districts of the Gujarat region namely Gandhinagar, Aravalli, Kheda, Anand, Ahmedabad, Panchmahal, Dahod Mahisagar, Vadodara Chhotaudepur, Narmada and Bharuch; in the districts of Saurashtra namely
Surendranagar, Rajkot, Amreli, Bhavnagar and Botad.

Light thunderstorms with lightning and surface wind less than 40 km/h (in gust) accompanied by light to moderate rain are very likely at isolated places in all the districts of the Gujarat region, Saurashtra-Kutch, and in Diu, Daman Dadra Nagar Haveli.

On 2nd September, Heavy rains at isolated places are very likely in the districts of the South Gujarat region namely Narmada, Dangs, and Tapi.

Light thunderstorms with lightning and surface wind less than 40 km/h (in gust) accompanied by light to moderate rain are very likely at isolated places in all the districts of the South Gujarat region, Saurashtra-Kutch, and in Diu, Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli; in the districts of North Gujarat region namely Ahmedabad, Anand, Aravalli, Dahod, Gandhinagar, Kheda, Mahisagar, and Panchmahal.

From 3rd Sept to 6th Sept morning, Light to Moderate rain/thundershowers are very likely at a few places in all the districts of South Gujarat region and in Daman, Dadra Nagar Haveli.; at isolated places in the districts of North Gujarat region namely Ahmedabad, Anand, Dahod, Gandhinagar, Kheda, Mahisagar, and Panchmahal; at isolated places in the districts of Saurashtra namely Amreli, Bhavnagar, Gir Somnath, Junagadh and in Diu.

Dry weather is very likely in the remaining districts of the North Gujarat region, Saurashtra-Kutch.

Moderate rain/thundershowers are very likely to occur in Ahmedabad.
