ATS of Gujarat Police nabs Afghan Citizen in Delhi with Rs. 20 crore heroin

Gandhinagar: Anti Terrorist Squad (ATS) of Gujarat Police has nabbed an Afghan citizen with Rs. 20 crore drugs from Delhi. Based on a tip off received by Surat Police’s Crime Branch, a team of Gujarat ATS arrested Vadiulla Rahimulla, an Afghan citizen with 4 kg heroin from Vasantkunj area of Delhi. Gujarat ATS has not just disrupted drug cartels in Gujarat but also across the country in recent months by raiding the places in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and elsewhere.
According to Sunil Joshi, SP of ATS Gujarat, an accused is 21 years old and he is from Kandahar in Afghanistan. He had come to India on a medical visa and had settled with family in Delhi. He had applied for refugee status under UNHRC. He had procured drugs from one Mustafa. Crime in this case has been filed in Delhi.
In last 11 months over 600 accused are nabbed in drugs cases in Gujarat. 25 of them are Pakistanis. None has got bail. In the last 11 months, Gujarat Police has nabbed over 600 persons in drug cases including more than 25 Pakistanis. None of them has got bail. MoS Home Harsh Sanghavi who is leading the drive against drugs yesterday evening had stated: In last 11 months over 600 accused are nabbed in drugs cases in Gujarat. 25 of them are Pakistanis.
