Naran Rathwa and Mohan Rathwa both seek ticket for their sons on Chhota Udepur seat

Chhota Udepur: Rajya Sabha MP and Chhota Udepur congress leader Naran Rathva declared his retirement and demanded to give a ticket for the Chhota Udepur constituency in the upcoming elections to his son Sangarmsinh Rathva in a press conference.

Naran Rathva declared his retirement at a press conference held by him. He declared that he won’t contest the next Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha elections. He demanded for an election ticket for his son Sangramsinh Rathva on the Chhota Udepur constituency.

Meanwhile Chhota Udepur congress MLA Mohansinh Rathwa has already demanded to give the ticket of Chhota Udepur constituency to his son Rajendrasinh Rathva two days ago after declaring his retirement. This has made confusion in the party regarding the next candidate, as both leaders are demanding ticket for their sons.

Naran Rathwa in a press conference said that his son Sangramsinh was contender for ticket to contest Chhota Udepur seat even in the last assembly election but he gave up his claim in favor of Mohansinh Rathwa. However now when Mohansinh wants to retire, Sangramsinh should be given chance to contest and not Mohansinh’s son Rajendrasinh.
