Devotees can offer Dhwaja at Pavagadh Mandir from Navratri

Panchmahal: The devotees will be able to offer Dhwaja at Mahakali mandir in Pavagadh from Navratri this year, as decided by Pavagadh Mandir Trust.

Pavagadh Mandir Trust has decided that the devotees will be able to offer Dhwaja. The trust has also declared the rates of donation for dhwaja of various sizes. The decision will be implemented from the start of Aaso Navratri on 26th September. The donation rates for various sizes of dhwaja will be: 11 feet: Rs 3100, 21 feet: Rs 4100, 31 feet: Rs 5100, 41 feet: Rs 6100, 51 feet: Rs 11,000

The trust has declared rules for offering dhwaja. A total 5 dhwaja will be offered daily, out of which one will be offered as per the chairman’s decision. The pujari of mandir will perform pujan, dhoop and aarti of dhwaja. The dhwaja will be sent via courier along with prasad to the devotees willing to keep it back with them. The dhwaja will be red. The arrangement for hoisting the dhwaja will be made by mandir staff. None will be allowed to go to the Shikhar of the mandir. The advance registration will be done if there is a large number of devotees willing to offer dhwaja on special occasions. There will be dhwaja only of the mandir during the entire day on aatham of all the Navratri and Dev Diwali.
