IBM opens Software lab in GIFT City

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel inaugurated the IBM software lab at Prestige Tower in GIFT city here in the presence of minister of IBM senior vice president Tom Rosamilia and Nickle LaMoreaux. The facility has recruited 500 persons from Gujarat. Presently it is occupying three floors of the building but it plans to expand further. The Chief Minister as soon as he entered the IBM facility after inaugurating it told IBM captains that smile on their face will stay intact and it will be the responsibility of Gujarat government to ensure it.
Gujarat has established benchmark in digital transformation in digital India Mission of PM Modi, said CM Patel on this occasion. He said that the IBM software lab will result into a skilled manpower in Gujarat for the avenues such as cloud and artificial intelligence. He added that Gujarat is set to contribute through skill based learning in the pledge of PM Modi to create this decade TECHADE- Technology Decade.
