Hindu female abducted in rural Amreli

Amreli: An accused Sohil Habib Dodiya and his family members allegedly abducted a 30-year-old Hindu female in Vadiya village in Kukavav taluka in Amreli district. The incident has resulted in agitation among the locals of Vadiya village.
The victim Hindu female’s father filed an application at Vadiya police station alleging that the accused Sohil, his father, brother and unknown persons came to his home at 3 pm on 16th September and abducted the female. The victim Hindu female when abducted couldn’t speak anything as she was scared, as per the plea. She was wearing a gold chain and ring at that time. She also had Rs 25 thousand cash.
The accused gave threats that they will kill the victim if a complaint is filed. The police have started further investigation as per the complaint. It is learnt that the accused Sohil is a relative of Amreli district youth Congress president and Vadiya gram panchayat ward no 6 members Juned Dodiya.
