AAP Candidate for Devgadh Bariya seat has history of 24 crimes

Dahod: Bharatsinh Vakhala, Aam Aadmi Party’s candidate from the Devgadh Bariya constituency of Dahod district, has 24 criminal cases against him. AAP has declared its candidates for serval seats, much ahead of the election. Vakhala is one of the declared candidates.
Vakhala was booked under as many as 24 cases in the past. These cases include charges as serious as, Attempt to murder (IPC Section-307), Kidnapping or abducting with intent secretly and wrongfully to confine a person (IPC Section-365), and Extortion by putting a person in fear of death or grievous hurt (IPC Section-386).
He was also booked under PASA for being involved in the acts of Rioting, and disturbing the peace. He is also booked in the cases related to the prohibition act.
Before joining the AAP, Bharatsinh Vakhala was previously in the congress party. In the Assembly election of 2017, Vakhala contested on the same seat of Devgadhbaria from a congress ticket and lost with a huge margin of 45694.
