12 youths from Dang get SIV level training of paragliding in Himachal Pradesh

Dangs: A total of 12 youths of Dang district took Simulated Incident in Flight (SIV) level advanced training of paragliding at Himachal Pradesh.
Himachal Pradesh’ Bilaspur seat MLA Subhash Thakur had organised SIV level advanced training of paragliding adventure activity in Bandla, Himachal Pradesh.
The youths from Gujarat, Maharashtra, Assam, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Kerala, and other states participated in the training. The 12 local youths from Dang participated in the training under the leadership of Harirambhai Savant, president of Dang District Paragliding Adventure Association, Saputara.
They took the training for paragliding flight, speed, passenger safety, climate estimation and so on from the experts. 8 more youths of Dang will be sent to Himachal Pradesh in the second batch for the same training.
A Gujarat government had started f paragliding festival in 2011 that attracted 1,500 adventure lovers later it went on to become a yearly thing with increasing numbers of visitors every year.
