Vadodara: Aam Aadmi Party workers sat in front of the bulldozers, creating a huge uproar and ruckus as Vadodara Municipal Corporation reached Preet Party Plot to demolish a portion of the alleged illegal wall. Preet Party Plot and Prasang Party plot, both owned by the same owner are the heart of this controversy.
The VMC team arrived to demolish the illegal construction on the Preet party plot today after serving due notice to the owners on 22nd September 2022.
Arvind Kejriwal has rented a party plot which has illegal construction.
When the municipality reached out to remove it, the owner has given in writing that they will remove it themselves.

According to AAM Aadmi Party officials, VMC’s action was at the behest of the BJP. According to them, the action was taken following a town hall meeting held by AAP’s national convenor on September 20.
However, After receiving the notice from the corporation, the owner of the two-party plots had himself assured the authorities in a handwritten letter that he would demolish all the illegal constructions.
In spite of the assurance, the owner did not demolish the encroachment till today. Therefore, the corporation team reached with a bulldozer and police on Saturday. But instead of letting the authorities do their job, AAP workers sat down in front of the JCB.
