Gandhinagar: Special Operation Group (SOG) of Gir Somnath Police has recovered 16 packets of Charas on the coastline of Hirakot fishing port near Prabhas Patan Somnath. A complaint has been registered against unknown persons in this regard.
– Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel on Sunday morning visited a newly built Metro rail station at Kalupur in Ahmedabad ahead of its opening by Prime Minster Narendra Modi on 30th September. The Chief Minister took stock of preparations for PM Modi’s visit here. The Prime Minister is going to open Thaltej – Vastral route of Ahmedabad Metro rail project. The Chief Minister also visited Narendra Modi stadium at Motera to take stock of preparations for the opening function of the 36th National Games. The Chief Minister also visited Gandhinagar railway station from where the Prime Minister will flag off Vande Bharat Express train.

– Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel today morning flagged off ‘Run for Development’ marathon organized by Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM).
– Ranjit Sagar dam in Jamnagar has witnessed an overflow in relief to the people of this city, thanks to SAUNI Yojana. Under this yojana, the dam is linked to SAUNI network initiated by then Chief Minister Narendrabhai Modi. With one inch overflow of the dam, Jamnagar will not face any issue of drinking water supply for the next over one year period.
– Lok Sabha member from Amreli seat Naran Kachchadiya’s personal assistant has filed police complaint in Cyber crime cell of district police. Kachhadiya was hearing peoples’ issue at his office on 23rd September. He received a video call from unknown number. As he saw pornographic video in video call, he cut the call. Later he received a call in which threat was issued to make a video viral. Kachhadiya has approached police regarding this blackmailing attempt.
– Gandhinagar Cultural Forum will once again hold Navratri event this year after two-years break related to Covid pandemic. Every day during 7 to 8 pm, the first 300 people will be given free entry.
