Vadodara: Gotri police in Vadodara have nabbed two brothers Iqbal alias Monu Nasrullah Ansari and Mahoram Nasrullah Ansari for repeated rape of a Hindu mother and daughter by blackmailing them through a video.

The mother filed a complaint at Gotri police station. She stated that she lives with her husband and three children and her husband works as a supervisor in a private company. She used to talk to a female neighbor living beside their home two years ago. The female also borrowed money from her. The female’s brother (accused) named Monu used to stare at the victim when he passed beside her home. They once had a talk. The female found his actual name ‘Iqbal Ansari’ when he showed his ID card when she asked him about his birth-date. The accused Monu alias Iqbal then started to demand money from her. The accused Monu alias Iqbal and the female shared their mobile numbers with each other and started to talk. The accused Iqbal had told her that he makes furniture. The female once asked him to make a wooden mandir at her home, for which he denied.

The accused Monu alias Iqbal then told her on a video call that he liked her a lot and he was willing to live with her. He then allegedly came to her home and forcibly had sex with her after telling that he will live with her whole life. He then started to come with her when she went for a walk in the morning. He also continued to have sex with her after coming to her home. He then once recorded her nude video when she was taking a bath.

The accused Monu alias Iqbal once told her that he needed a house on rent. She arranged it in her house at a rent of Rs 3 thousand per month. His brothers Mahoram Ansari and Golu Ansari started to live there on rent. The accused Iqbal continued to forcibly have sex with her by giving threats to make her video viral.

The victim ‘s elder daughter once suddenly started to cry six months ago. When being asked, she told her that the accused Iqbal forcibly has sex with her repeatedly by giving threats to show her mother’s photos to her father for four months. She then found out that she was pregnant by two months due to the same. The accused Iqbal had given her abortion pills for abortion. Her mother went to the accused home after learning about the incident and asked him that why he raped her daughter. The accused spoke abusive words and gave threats.

Later, the mother learned on 17th September 2022 that her daughter had made an application for a registered marriage with the accused Iqbal’s brother Mahoram Ansari. She then found that Iqbal had given her photos to Mahoram Ansari. The accused Mahoram Ansari had allegedly convinced her to marry him by giving threats to make photos of her mother viral.
