Supreme Court of India starts live streaming of constitutional bench proceedings

New Delhi: Starting Today, the Supreme Court of India is going to do live streaming of the proceedings of the constitution bench.

The Livestreaming of courtrooms is available on the Supreme Court’s channel on NIC Webcast. the link for the following is: https://webcast.gov.in/scindia/

There are three constitution benches presided by Chief Justice of India UU Lalit, Justice DY Chandrachud and Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul respectively.

The CJI-led Constitution Bench is hearing the EWS quota case (pleas challenging the 103rd Constitution Amendment).

Justice Chandrachud’s bench will hear the petitions related to the Shiv Sena rift.

The only time the live proceeding were shown in public was on 26th august. That was proceedings before the ceremonial bench of CJI NV Ramana on his retirement day.
