Sabarkantha: Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat has nabbed a Talati cum Mantri and former sarpanch of Karunda gram panchayat in Khedbrahma taluka of Sabarkantha in a bribe case of Rs 35 thousand.

The complainant has a plot in the village. The complainant had to receive a covenant from Talati after making a proposal for starting house construction on the plot. The accused Talati cum Mantri Mukeshkumar Setandan Gadhvi and former sarpanch Babusing Sadaji Vanzara demanded a bribe of Rs 35 thousand to give a covenant.

The complainant contacted ACB as he was not willing to pay the bribe. The accused were found taking a bribe of Rs 35 thousand during a trap executed by ACB. The accused are detained.
