Valsad: Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat has nabbed an assistant head constable and GRD (Gram Rakshak Dal) of Pardi police station in Valsad in a bribe case of Rs 6 thousand.

The complainant’s friend’s two-wheeler was in the Pardi police station in a crime case. The court had asked for police opinion to release the two-wheeler. The accused assistant head constable Gauravbhai Rameshbhai Dabhi and GRD Pradipbhai Gamanbhai Patel had demanded a bribe of Rs 15 thousand from the complainant to give the opinion. The amount was reduced to Rs 6000 after arguments.

The complainant contacted ACB as he was not willing to pay the bribe. The accused were found taking a bribe of Rs 6 thousand during a trap executed by ACB. The accused are detained. DeshGujarat
