Mega demolition drive at Bet Dwarka

Dwarka: A mega operation was launched on Saturday in Bet Dwarka against illegal constructions and activities in the island area. A large police cordoned entire Bet Dwarka and the ferry boat service for commoners was put on halt. The police from Saurashtra region and officials and staffers of related departments started a mega operation. Over 1000 strong teams including police jawans, SRP jawans, PI, PSI, DySP joined the operation. Saurashtra range DIG Sandip Singh, SP Nitesh Pandey have joined the operation. Moreover, the revenue department, panchayati department, maritime board, PGVCL (Govt owned power company) also joined the operation that also involves an aspect of national security. DeshGujarat
