Surat: The police have nabbed the accused Hamid from Ajmer, who was missing with a 17-year old Hindu female from Lajpor in Surat. The police have rescued the Hindu victim female.

The accused Hamid Madhi, living in Bajar Faliya in Lajpor in Surat is married and father of four. The accused Hamid’s two daughters are married and his son works in a hotel. The accused Hamid Madhi allegedly lured a minor Hindu female in an affair and eloped with her. The incident triggered protest by Hindus.

A 17-year old Hindu female was living at her aunt’s home after her mother’s death. She worked in Hojiwala Industrial Estate. The accused Hamid Madhi used to drop her to Hojiwala Industrial Estate daily in his autorickshaw. He used to talk to her in the way and trapped her in an affair. He later allegedly sold his rickshaw and bought an Eco car. He allegedly eloped with the female in his friend’s rickshaw. The female’s aunt informed Sachin Police about the incident. Sachin police conducted an inquiry of Hamid’s friends, relatives and children. The police later found the accused’s friend’s rickshaw in which he eloped with the female from Sachin-Pardi. The police seized it.

The complaint was filed against Hamid at Sachin police station under kidnapping and POCSO. The police found him from Ajmer through mobile surveillance. The accused had taken the Hindu female to Ajmer in a train.
