AAP Gujarat Chief said women are exploited in Hindu Mandirs and Katha ; video goes viral

Gandhinagar: A video of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Gujarat president Gopal Italia saying that – Mandirs and Katha are dens for exploitation for women – has gone viral on social media.

In the video clip, Gopal Italia is showing some book as he says, “I’m requesting your mother and sisters and daughters, that you will get nothing out of Katha and Mandirs. They are dens for exploitation. If you want your right, if you want to rule the country, if you want equal rights, then read this book instead of dancing in the Kathas.”

BJP leaders attacked the AAP leader and party for their double standards as Kejriwal roams around in Gujarat calling dressed in Rudraksh and portraying himself as big Hindu. But his party leaders has been found time and again discarding Hinduism.

Amit Malviya, In-charge of BJP’s National Information & Technology Dept. tweeted the video and said “After repeatedly insulting and disrespecting women by using the “C” word, Gopal Italia, AAP Gujarat President and close aide of Arvind Kejriwal, in another video, can be seen telling women that they must not go for katha or to temples because they are places of exploitation.”

Parvesh Sahib Singh, BJP MP from Delhi also took to twitter, and said, “AAP’s Education Minister Sisodia used to oppose the construction of Ram temple, Rajendra Pal insults Hindu deities and now AAP Gujarat President is calling Hindu temples as sites of exploitation.

Another tweeter user shared a thread with multiple videos of Gopal Italia, in which he says that “”Satyanarayan Katha, Bhagwad Katha etc are useless stuff and a waste of money & time. Don’t clap like hijras in name of rituals and culture. Random sadhu sadvi speak nonsense from the stage and ppl clap like hijras”

In another he says that “They loot you, exploit you through tax, PF & other haram ka paisa and sponsor dhongi sadhu sant mahant pujari pundit & Kathayein (religious event). I’m ashamed & angry that your family members clap on the same.”

Now the netizens are calling out the hypocrisy of Gopal Italia, AAP chief Kejriwal as they visit multiple temples in Gujarat in view of doing vote bank politics.
