CM Bhupendra Patel to dedicate 17,000 development works for Gujarat

CM Bhupendra Patel to inaugurate & lay foundation stone for development works worth ₹2,646 crore from Science City, Ahmedabad tomorrow

Event organised as part of the celebration of 20 years of ‘Vishwas Thi Vikas Yatra’

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will dedicate and lay the foundation stone of 17,000 developmental works tomorrow during a special event at Science City, Ahmedabad. The state government will spend ₹2,646 crore to carry out these developmental works.

In the last few months, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and state government collectively have dedicated slew of development projects worth several thousand crore to the people of Gujarat. Continuing this practice, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will once again present several public developmental works tomorrow.

Of these 17,000 development works, the foundation stone of more than 13,000 development works will be laid and over 4,000 development works will be dedicated to the people. Dahod district is among the top districts where the foundation stone of over 3,000 development works will be laid and more than 70 development works will be dedicated to the people.

Other districts include Bharuch where foundation stone of more than 1600 works will be laid, followed by Dang with 600 works, Mahisagar with 500 works and Anand with more than 550 works. Similarly, more than 180, more than 160, nearly 400, and more than 100 works respectively will be dedicated to the people of above-mentioned districts.

It is to be noted that the state government is organising this event under the ‘Vishwas Thi Vikas Yatra’. MP Dr Kirit Solanki, MP Hasmukh Bhai Patel, Mayor Kirit Parmar and various dignitaries and people at large will mark their presence.
