Diwali to be celebrated on 24 October ; Gujarati new year on October 26

Gandhinagar: Diwali will be celebrated on 24th October this year, followed by a gap on 25th October and New Year on 26th October.
Rama Ekadashi and Vagh Baras will be observed on the same day today on 21st October 2022. The Baras Tithi will be till 6 pm on 22nd October- Saturday. Dhan teras will start after 6 pm on Saturday. Kali Chaudash will be on 23rd October- Sunday. The Chaudash tithi will last till 5.27 pm on Monday. Amas tithi will begin after 5.27 pm on Monday- 24th October.
Diwali will be celebrated after 5.27 pm on Monday. There will be a gap on Tuesday- 25th October due to Surya Grahan. The new year Vikram Samvat 2079 will start from Wednesday- 26th October. DeshGujarat
