Gujarat CM approval to development works in Vapi, Mundra, Bharuch

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has granted in-principle approval for the works of storm water drainage, water supply, and underground gutter schemes in three municipalities of the state of Rs 114.68 crore.
Gujarat Urban Development Mission (GUDM) had made the proposal for the works in three municipalities namely Vapi, Bharuch and Mundra-Baroi. CM Patel has approved the works of Rs 26.52 crore for storm water drainage in Vapi under Swarnim Jayanti Mukhya Mantri Shaheri Vikas Yojna.
CM Patel has also approved a proposal of Rs 83.79 crore for underground gutter scheme works in Mundra Baroi municipality in Kutch. A sewage treatment plant of 10 MLD capacity, house connection chamber, pumping machinery, and sewer collecting system are included in the scheme.
CM Patel has approved water supply scheme works of Rs 4.37 crore in Dungari area zone 6 and Shaktinagar zone 2 in Bharuch municipality. DeshGujarat
