Godhra: Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat has nabbed the ASI of Dalvada bit no 2 of Shahera police station of Panchmahal district in a bribe case of Rs 9000.

The complainant had tussles with his aunty and uncle’s sons over land. So, they had filed cross complaints at Shahera police station. The complainant, his son and his nephews were called to the police station. The accused ASI Vajesinh Shakarabhai Baria demanded a bribe of Rs 10 thousand to not to keep them in lockup and release on bail. The complainant had told him to pay it later. The accused had submitted papers to Shahera mamlatdar office.

The complainant contacted ACB as he was not willing to pay the bribe. The accused was found taking a bribe of Rs 9 thousand from the complainant during a trap executed by ACB. The accused is detained.
