Bharatsinh Solanki faces ink attack

Ahmedabad: Congress leader Bharatsinh Solanki today faced an ink-attack at the State party headquarters in Paldi area of the city. The accused who threw ink was identified as one Romin Suthar. Romin was upset as his father Rashmikant Suthar was denied a party ticket to contest the upcoming assembly election on the Ellisbridge seat. Solanki was stepping outside the party office to join the Parivartan Sankalp Yatra. Romin Suthar was immediately detained by Ellisbridge police. However, Bharatsinh decided not to file a complaint against him. Romin had also chanted slogans while throwing ink. Congress party has given a ticket for the Ellisbridge assembly seat to Bhikhu Dave. Ellisbridge is the seat that has not elected Congress candidate in the last many terms. DeshGujarat
