Over 1000 workers quit Congress party in Jhalod in protest of party’s candidate

Dahod: More than 1 thousand congress workers from Jhalod resigned from the party in protest of selection of the party’s candidate for Jhalod seat of Dahod district for upcoming state assembly election.
Congress party gave ticket to Mitesh Garasiya for the upcoming state assembly election from Jhalod seat. The congress workers demanded to change the candidate. They had made demand in the party up to state level. However, when the party did not heed to the demands of the workers and change the candidate, the workers decided to leave to the congress.
