Dhoraji: Prime Minister Modi is on a three-day campaign visit to Gujarat. While addressing the public meeting in Dhoraji, PM attacked congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his Padyatra with NGO operator Medha Patkar.
PM Modi said, “Pandit Nehru had laid the foundation stone of the dam but I was the one who inaugurated it because so many people tried to stall Sardar Sarovar Project for decades. You might have seen a photo yesterday in news, a leader from the Congress party, was walking with the lady who stalled the Sardar Sarovar Project, I want to ask by what face would congress come to you to seek a vote from you … I also want you to ask them this question, would you question them? Ask loudly to them.”
PM further talked about the work done by BJP government for the supply of water to Saurashtra by lifting water to a height equal to 20 storey building and rolling out the SAUNI yojana of linking the dams through pipelines, so big in size that a car can run inside.
