Former MLA quits Congress ; Likely to rejoin BJP

Gandhinagar: Former legislator Anilbhai Mali has resigned from the Congress party. He has resigned from the primary membership and all posts of the party. He is likely to rejoin the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) tomorrow November 25, possibly in the presence of the State BJP chief CR Patil. Mali was MLA from the Deodar assembly seat in the Banaskantha district of North Gujarat. Mali had left BJP in October 2017 ahead of the State assembly polls and joined Congress. Mali was a legislator of the BJP during 2007-2012. Several taluka and agriculture market yard level leaders of Congress party have declared support to Mali as he had left Congress party. DeshGujarat
