12 of 18 suspended rebels in Botad inducted back to BJP

Botad: A total of 12 out of 18 Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) members of Botad municipality who were suspended after they rebelled earlier are inducted back into the party.
BJP was ruling on 40 out of 44 seats of Botad municipality. The office bearers and president had resigned after internal groupism. The party had issued a mandate for the selection of the new president of the municipality.
Former Patidar quota agitation leader Dilip Sabva’s wife Alpabala Sabva rebelled against it and filled out the form for the post of the President of the Municipality. 18 members of BJP supported her and she became the new president of the municipality. BJP had suspended the 18 members and superseded the municipality. Total 12 out of 18 members are now taken back to the party in the presence of former MLA Dr TD Maniya and city BJP president Chandu Savaliya today. DeshGujarat
