Kheda: Speaking here today, Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi today said ‘we need to save Gujarat from those who are into the games of terror. The generation of Gujarat that has not seen even a curfew, I want to save them also from the sounds of bomb blasts.’

The PM slammed Congress and other parties over appeasement politics.

The PM said, ‘I recall the scenes of Mumbai terror attack. Yesterday, we paid tribute to the martyrs of Mumbai terror attack.’

‘Gujarat also was the target of terrorists. Many people died in serial bomb blasts of Surat and Ahmedabad. A few months ago, the Ahmedabad court sentenced the accused of serial blasts. Gujarat had wished to eliminate the terror. Gujarat government had taken detailed actions against terror sleeper cells. None can forget how then Delhi-based Congress govt in the Centre had employed its full strength to free the accused of terror acts.’

‘We would ask to target the terror, but the Delhi govt targeted not terror but Modi. It was moral boosting for terrorists. After Delhi’s Batla House encounter, Congress leaders started crying in support of terrorists. Congress also views terrorism through the prism of vote bank and appeasement. And not just Congress, now there are varieties of parties that believe in short-term politics. Their hunger for power is intense, they are interested in appeasement politics. They only see that some people don’t feel bad and the vote bank is not affected.’

‘Even after the worst terror incident, these appeasement political parties stay silent. When the matters are in court, then through the backdoor they reach court. Gujarat and the nation need to stay alert against these parties. in 2014 your vote strength helped greatly to crush terrorism. Forget the cities of India, even in the border areas also the masters of terrorists need to think 100 times before executing attack today.’

‘India now goes into the house to finish the terrorists. Congress and other parties hungry for a vote bank question the surgical strike and capabilities of our armed forces. Those who take terrorism lightly are trapped in terrorism. Till the vote bank, politics is there the danger of terror would continue to loom.
