Forester, middleman booked in bribe case by ACB Gujarat

Gandhinagar: Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Gujarat Police has booked a Forester and nabbed a middleman in a bribe case in Gandhinagar.
According to ACB, accused Vikas Chaudhary is Forester, working with the Gujarat government as a class-3 employee. He is posted at Nardipur nursery in Kalol taluka of Gandhinagar district. The other accused is Sunil Dantani, a private person working as a laborer.
A complainant who approached the ACB had contacted Dantani for the removal of a tree in forest land which is located next to private land. Dantani sought Rs. 50,000 but after bargaining settled for Rs. 20,000. Dantani took Rs. 5,000 as the first installment of the bribe as per the instruction of forester Chaudhary. As the complainant didn’t want to pay the bribe, he contacted ACB following which a trap was arranged and Dantani was nabbed while receiving a bribe while Forester Chaudhary is booked. DeshGujarat
