200 out of 3000 Vadodara Police Jawans categorised unfit

Vadodara: Vadodara police gave posting as per choice to the two female police who lost over 17 kgs of weight within 90 days.
A medical checkup of 3 thousand police jawans was done a year ago in Vadodara city. Around 200 out of them were categorized as unfit. Training under the guidance of fitness and yoga experts and dietitians was started for them. ASI Bharatiben Revabhai lost 21 kgs weight and constable Monikaben Shaileshbhai lost 17 kgs weight in 90 days. Police Commissioner Dr Shamsher Singh honoured them as ‘Cop Of The Month’ and gave posting to them at the police station of their choice.
DCP Yashpal Jaganiya informed that the 200 police jawans were categorized in the red category after a medical checkup of 3 thousand police jawans. They were categorized in the red category considering medical issues like weight, cholesterol, blood pressure, and other. Those on the borderline were put under the yellow category. It was informed to the unfit police jawans at that time that they will be offered to post at the police station of their choice if they enter the green (fit) category.
