ACB nabs 2 FDCA officers from Valsad in Bribe Case

Valsad: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Gujarat arrested two Food and Drugs Control Administration (FDCA) officers in Valsad on Wednesday in a bribe case involving the sum of Rs. Sixty thousand.
The accused Divyang Barot (57), senior safety officer, and Jyoti Bhadarka (32), food safety officer, demanded a bribe of Rs 60,000 for not harassing the complainant and not failing the samples collected from his bakery.
Although the complainant followed all government procedures, the accused harassed him anyway. To avoid paying the bribe and stop the harassment, the complainant contacted ACB. The accused were found taking a bribe of Rs 60,000 from the complainant during a trap executed by ACB. DeshGujarat
