Rajkot: The menace of stray cattle is continuing. A video has gone viral in which stray cattle while fighting with each other turned upside down a school rickshaw full of students. Fortunately, the rickshaw had stopped and none was seriously injured in this incident. The incident happened in Jetpur town near Rajkot. Scores of people have been killed and suffered injuries due to stray cattle menace across Gujarat in past few months. The Government had passed an act in the State assembly last year for strict actions against the stray cattle menace, however, under the pressure of cattle rearer communities, the government withdrew the bill in the succeeding session. The menace use to be at its peak during and after the season of monsoon every year.
