Bajrang Dal takes a dance choreographer to task for messages to Hindu minor girls

Vadodara: A Muslim choreographer who changed his name and identity and sent messages to 8 school girls on their mobile phones was taken to task by Bajrang Dal youths. His apology was taken in a video by Bajrang Dal youths. There has been no police complaint filed in this case.

According to Ketanbhai Trivedi, coordinator of Bajrang Dal, a school in Tarsali area had managed a dance choreographer for the annual day function in the school. A choreographer was called on a temporary basis for the practice sessions ahead of the annual day function. During the dance practice, a choreographer had taken the phone numbers and the details of the social media accounts of some minor girls who study in classes 8 and 9. Later he sent messages to 8 girls and asked ‘do you love me? Will you come to school tomorrow?’ He had also made calls on Instagram. Even after the girls refused to entertain him, he would continue to send messages.

One of the relatives of a young girl had contacted Bajrang Dal for intervention. On 29 December, Bajrang Dal cadres rushed to the school and came to know that the choreographer was running a dance academy in the Alwa naka area of Manjalpur. The teachers and parents were unaware that he was a Muslim, as he had changed his name to Shiv from the original name of Sheru Pathan. DeshGujarat
