16.54 lakh students to appear for Gujarat Board Exams

Gandhinagar: The state education board has received a total of 16.54 lakh registration applications for class 10 & 12 board exams.
A total of 16.54 lakh students have registered for the final exams to be conducted by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB).
According to data released by the board, For Class 12, the board has received 1.26 lakh registrations in the science stream and 5.67 lakhs in the general stream. 9.60 lakh students registered for the 10th standard exams.
The state education board is going to conduct the exams between March 14 and 31, 2023.
This year the registration has gone up from 14.98 lahks last year. Class 12 general stream registrations have increased by 1.41 lakh, while science stream registrations have increased by 18,000. However, the number of registrations for class 10 fell by 3,658 from last year. DeshGujarat
