Gujarat Govt conducts demolition drive in border area of Kutch; Few Madrasas also demolished

Kutch: Gujarat Government carried out a demolition drive against the illegal constructions including Madresa structures in the border areas of Kutch on Sunday. The drive was carried out under the Border Coastal Area Action Plan.
36 commercial structures and 6 madrasas were demolished by the administration in Khawda village of Kutch.
Meanwhile in a letter written to the district collector of Kutch, Akhil Kutch Sunni Muslim Hitrakshak Samiti has opposed the demolition of madrasas in Khavda. The organisation has threatened to go on agitation against the bulldozing of the structures. DeshGujarat
