Postponed Panchayat recruitment exam to be conducted within 100 days: GPSSB Chairman Sandeep Kumar

Gandhinagar: The recruitment exam for vacant posts of junior clerks in Panchayat department of the Gujarat government will be held within 100 days from now, said Sandeep Kumar, IAS in his briefing. Sandeep Kumar is Chairman of Gujarat Panchayat Service Selection Board (GPSSB).
The new dates will be declared soon after taking into consideration the dates of other competitive and other exams, he stated.
He further said that the candidates will be availed free transport facility in GSRTC buses to and from when the postponed exam is conducted on a fresh date.
Sandeep Kumar who refused to take any questions from the media persons, further read out his written statement and said in the last five years, Gujarat Panchayat Pasandagi Mandal has recruited 21,000 staffers by successfully conducting the recruitment exams involving over 30 lakh candidates.
He said that an organized gang operating from outside Gujarat was involved in a paper leak today.
It’s worth noting that over 7 lakh youths were to appear in the recruitment exam for vacant posts of junior clerks today. However hours before the exam, the government postponed it due to a paper leak.
