Motera: Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) has in a statement made announcement that the Metro train services shall be extended for 2.30 hours on 1st February due to India vs New Zealand cricket match at Narendra Modi stadium to facilitate the passengers. The note conveys that only Motera Stadium and Sabarmati Metro stations will be opened for entry/boarding till 00:30 Hrs.  All other Metro stations will be opened for passenger exit only during this extended time.

The Statement reads:

Presently Metro train services are operational in Ahmedabad from 07:00 Hrs. to 22:00 Hrs. since 30-01-2023.

On account of the scheduled T-20 Cricket match between India vs New Zealand at Narendra Modi Stadium on 01-02-2023, the Metro train services shall be extended for 2.30 hours for the day and will be available up to 00:30 Hrs. on 02-02-2023 to facilitate the passengers. Metro train shall be available at every 15 minutes for these extended hours from 22:00 Hrs. to 00:30 Hrs.

Only Motera Stadium and Sabarmati Metro stations will be opened for entry/boarding till 00:30 Hrs.  All other Metro stations will be opened for passenger exit only during this extended time.
