Vadodara police acts against 3 eve teasers on basis of viral video

Baroda: Vadodara She team once again set an example for creating a safe environment for the women. Based on a viral video of three Romeos posted by a girl, Warasia police station She team act quickly to caught the accused and spread a positive message before all. The girl also thanked the team for their action and helped her to feel safe in Vadodara.
The incident happened on 25th January when the girl hired an auto to reach home. Three boys followed the auto on their bike till around 7 to 8 kilometers and continuously harassing the girl. Without any fear she shot a video on mobile and posted on her social media account with a message for action against them. Taking the serious note on it and on instructions of Police Commissioner, Warasia She team tracked the accused and took action against them. The girl later posed another video thanking the police team for quick action and presents a positive example before everyone.
“The incident was scary for every girl but being a MMA fighter and Self Defense Trainer, I thought of teaching the boys a lesson. They continuously followed the auto and with no option I took out my mobile phone and record a short video of the boys. I also shouted on them which make them fled from there. Later I shared the video on social media and tagged the concerned agencies to take action. I specially thanked the Police Commissioner Dr. Shamsher Singh for taking quick action and track the accused. The She team done a tremendous job to spread a positive example in the society and make girls like us to feel safe in Vadodara,” said the girl.
Assistant Commissioner of Police Mahila Cell, Radhika Bharai said, as soon as the video came to our notice our team traced the accused based on their bike registration number and we took preventive and legal action against them. The girl denied to file any FIR, but we detained their bike and take action in the matter.
