Gandhinagar: Gujarat government will purchase Tuver, Chana, and Raydo through support prices from 10 March to 7 June. As per the Spokesperson minister of the Gujarat government, the advance estimated production of Tuver in 2022-23 has been 2.10 lakh ha, Chana 7.31 lakh ha, and Rai 3.21 lakh ha. The minister added that registration for farmers is available through e-gram centers, VCEs and NAFED e-samriddhi portal till 28 February. As on 7 February 1431 farmers registered for Tuver, 1.16 lakh for Chana, and 949 for Rayda produce. The government has fixed the support prices at Rs. 6600/quintal for Tuver, Rs. 5335/quintal for Chana and Rs. 5450/quintal for Rai. The number of centers that would offer MSP purchases in numbers are Tuver-135, Chana-187, and Rai-103.
