Bhavnagar: A 16-year-old Hindu girl died in an attack by a Muslim mob in Varal village of Sihor belt in Bhavnagar district. A 16-year-old Hindu girl Radhika died when she intervened in a brawl to rescue her uncle.

On 9 February night, Arif Allarakhkha had a verbal argument with the former Sarpanch of the village, Lashkarbhai Baraiya over the erection of the mobile tower. Arif rushed to attack Lashkarbhai with a sharp weapon in his hand. Lashkarbhai’s niece Radhika intervened to rescue her uncle from Arif’s attack and suffered injuries due to the sharp weapon attack by Arif. Radhika was taken to a hospital but she didn’t survive.

As per the report, the Police have booked six persons including Arif, Ashraf, Arman, Irfan, Amin, and Adil in this case. Lashkarbhai’s younger brother Jagdish Baraiya had no child, and therefore Lashkarbhai had given her daughter Radhika to Jagdishbhai as an adopted child. DeshGujarat
