Gandhinagar: Captain Ajay Chauhan, who held the positions of CEO of Gujarat State Aviation Infrastructure Company Ltd (Gujsail) and director of civil aviation for a significant amount of time, has been removed from both posts by the state government.

Nitin Sangwan, the fisheries commissioner, has been given additional responsibility for these positions.

According to sources, The decision to remove Chauhan was made by the chief minister in response to allegations made against Chauhan. There may be an investigation into the allegations.

Chauhan had held the director of civil aviation position since April 2004 and the CEO of Gujsail position since January 2010, totalling 18 years and over 13 years, respectively. Complaints made to the chief minister’s office led to the decision to remove him. DeshGujarat
