Department-wise allocation in Gujarat Budget 2023-24

Gandhinagar: Gujarat finance minister Kanubhai Desai today presented the state budget of Rs 3.01 lakh crore for fiscal 2023-24. The finance minister made the biggest allocation in the Education sector of Rs 43,651 crore, followed by the Agriculture, Farmer’s Welfare and Co-operation Department getting Rs. 21,605 crore. Rs 15,182 crore were allocated for the health sector. Rs 18,000 crore for Ahmedabad Metro Phase-II under Urban Development and Urban Housing Department
