Gujarat Budget 2023: No new tax burden, existing tax rates remain unchanged

Gandhinagar: Finance Minister Kanubhai Desai today imposed no new tax and kept the existing tax rates unchanged.
Kanubhai who presented his second budget stated that an amendment law will be brought in regard to the use of IT, and make simplification in electricity duty management in the future.
The finance minister while presenting Rs. 3.01 lakh crore annual budget, 23 percent up compared to the previous one, said the estimates for the financial year 2023-24 show a surplus of Rs. 916.87 crores. DeshGujarat
