Gandhinagar: The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) on Wednesday started an exam counselling helpline for students and parents, in preparation for the Class 10 and 12 board exams which are scheduled to take place from March 14 to 29 in the state.

According to an announcement made by the board, the helpline will remain active until March 29 and will be available from 10 am to 6:30 pm every day. Qualified psychologists and counsellors will be in attendance to address calls on the toll-free number 1800 233 5500. In addition, the Ahmedabad city district education officer has also introduced a helpline on which students and parents can send queries via WhatsApp on the number +919909922648.

The helpline would provide counselling for pre-exam anxiety and stress, as well as offer guidance for students and parents on other matters related to the examinations. School teachers and management officials can also use this helpline. DeshGujarat
