Abu Dhabi Hindu Mandir to have 300 hi-tech sensors installed in it

Gandhinagar: The upcoming Hindu mandir in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the first in that region, will have 300 high-tech sensors installed in it. The Mandir will also feature intricate carvings of Hindu Avatars and Rishis and cultural and moral value tales from ancient civilizations. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to inaugurate the Abu Dhabi Hindu mandir early next year.

According to Gujarat headquartered spiritual oganization BAPS (Bochasanvasi Akshar Purushottam Sanstha), Swami Brahmaviharidas updated the Prime Minister on the upcoming BAPS Hindu Mandir in Abu Dhabi during their meeting in the national capital on Friday.

A report on this meeting on BAPS website stated: The Prime Minister was particularly interested in the 300 hi-tech sensors installed throughout the Mandir, which provide valuable live data of pressure, temperature, settlement, deflection, and stresses created by seismic movements, among other things. What stood out the most, was the Mandir’s inclusivity, which features intricate carvings of Hindu Avatars and Rishis, as well as cultural and moral value tales from ancient civilizations. The Mandir’s approach to ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ is a true testament to its commitment to fostering unity and harmony among all peoples, regardless of their backgrounds or beliefs.

As per BAPS report – during the hour-long meeting, Swami Brahmaviharidas expressed heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on behalf of HH Mahant Swami Maharaj and BAPS worldwide, for personally inaugurating the centenary celebrations of Pramukh Swami Maharaj. Spread over 600 acres, the celebrations were planned and managed by 80,000 selfless volunteers and attended by over 12.1 million people from across the globe. The inspirations and messages of goodness reached billions through social media. On hearing that the entire festival ground had been wound up and the land was returned to the farmers once again, the PM added, “It was one of its kind, so huge and so well-planned, I am happy that it was celebrated flawlessly, without a single glitch or hitch.” DeshGujarat
