March 06, 2023
Gandhinagar: Two police inspectors and four Assistant Drill Instructors were suspended on Sunday in connection with the case where a trainee sub-inspector Mayur Tadvi allegedly enrolled at Karai Police Academy using forged documents, said Gujarat Police sources.
The suspended police inspectors are MJ Gohil and DN Angari, and the four ADIs include Hitesh Dangar, Parag Bhatt, Nathabhai Chaudhary, and Hiten Patel.
After the case came to light on February 27, Tadvi was arrested last week for enrolling as a trainee police sub-inspector at the Karai Police Academy in Gandhinagar, allegedly by submitting forged documents, after he failed the qualifying tests.
Police Recruitment Board selected 582 trainees through a series of tests, but Tadvi’s name was not among them. DeshGuajrat
