BJP MLA Vipul Patel to move resolution against BBC in Gujarat Assembly
March 07, 2023
Gandhinagar: Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) legislator Vipul Patel is going to move a resolution against British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) in the Gujarat Assembly over an ill-motived documentary on Gujarat riots that intends to defame India’s image globally.
The resolution copy states that BBC is working against India and the Indian government as per its secret agenda.
The resolution is scheduled to be moved on March 10 and proposes that the Gujarat Assembly convey its appeal to the central government to take strict action against BBC over its documentary, which ignores the conclusions of the Nanavati Commission and the Supreme Court regarding the Gujarat riots in 2002.
