Narendra Modi stadium is all set to host Indian and Australian PMs

Motera: Ahead of high profile visit of Indian Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi and Australian counterpart Anthony Albanese, the Narendra Modi stadium is decked up. Large banners depicting the pictures of both Prime Ministers can be seen at the stadium, which is the largest cricket stadium in the world. A small battery-run chariot has also been placed in the stadium in which both Prime Ministers will stand up and take a round of the boundary line, waving their hands at the audience.

Both Prime Ministers may toss the coin ahead of the match. Australian PM Albanese has in an interview to a radio station stated – ‘There’s a lot of pressure on because myself and Prime Minister Modi are tossing the coin. I have no idea how it’s going to work. But he’s the home Prime Minister, so I think he will be in charge.’

In the year 2020, the same stadium had hosted American President Donald Trump. Ahead of the visit of both Prime Ministers, the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Bhupendra Patel visited the stadium to take stock of the preparations.
