HM Amit Shah dedicates projects of AMC and AUDA worth Rs 154 crore

Amdavad: Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah e-inaugurated various development works of Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) and Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA) through video conferencing today.
Addressing the function Home Minister said, “Today, I heartily thank AUDA, AMC, and the state government as the development work worth more than ₹154 crores is getting kicked off in my constituency.”
After inaugurating the overbridge at Sanathal Junction, built at a cost of about 100 crores, Shah said that it was a much-needed bridge to connect rural Ahmedabad with Vadodara and Saurashtra. The demand for this had risen when I was just an MLA. Today, as an MP, I am very happy that this overbridge is functional, Shah added.

“Smart schools are not just a concept; it is like a national highway for changing the future of the country,” said Shah after inaugurating five smart schools by AMC in Chandkheda, Sabarmati, Shela, Thaltej and Sarkhej.
The Home Minister also praised the AMC for working toward quality education for about 1.70 lakh students studying in 459 schools run by the civic body, as it is working toward turning these into smart schools.
The other works that Shah dedicated include the Pedestal subway near GST crossing, senior citizens cum recreation park in Nava Vadaj ward, Shela drainage pumping station, and network and 5 Anganwadis among others. DeshGujarat
