Man booked by Vesu police for faking his identity and sexually abuse a Hindu girl

Surat: An accused Wasim Akram allegedly trapped a 24-year-old Hindu female in a love affair by faking a Hindu name and raped her by enticing her of marriage, as per a complaint filed with the Police.
As per a complaint filed with Vesu Police, Wasim Akram Vahid, living in Rajput Faliya in Vesu area in Surat, and running a business named Sunrise event, befriended a 24-year-old Hindu female living in Vesu area after identifying himself with a fake Hindu name Vasu Gvaladiya. He made her business partner in Sunrise event. They used to talk on phone calls frequently. They then started a love affair.
The accused had allegedly enticed the Hindu female of marriage and raped her from 1st July 2022 to 10 February 2023 by taking her to various hotels. The female learnt about the actual identity of the accused as Wasim Akram after 7 months when she found his aadhar card during shifting of office. She then filed a complaint against him at Vesu police. The police have booked the accused for rape and breach of trust. DeshGujarat
